Product Description
Prague ham is a type of Prosciutto Cotto "cooked ham" that dates back to an ancient Austro-Hungarian tradition born in Prague about 150 years ago. History has it that the production of this delicacy was somehow abandoned in its place of origin. In fact this type of product can no longer be found in the Czech Republic. Luckily, the original production methods of this culinary marvel have been saved by the master butchers of Trieste in Italy who still produce Prague Ham today with the same rules that were followed 150 years ago.
Quick & easy: cut a few rather thick slices of Praga Ham and roast them for a minute on a grill, then serve the Ham on home-made bread with some mustard.
